Good question. There could be many reasons for it. The easiest solution is
probably to access Freenet through a normal web browser (or to create a
custom profile yourself, through the profile manager). For Freenet to work
well, you'll need to go to about:, then find the network.http settings, and
set the max connections really high (200 per server). You can see what
settings our custom profile uses in a file called user.js in the
firefox_profile directory in Freenet.
