[freenet-support] Odd freenet.ini line

I have a freenet.ini file which has the following line in it:
node.clientThrottleFile=.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\
.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\.\client-throttle.dat

Is there any reason for so  many ".\"s as it looks weird?
