[2:01] <bluephile> I'm getting an error when trying to start my node (./run.sh console): "Failed to start FProxy port already bound: isn't Freenet already running ?" (full startup output: http://dark-code.bulix.org/pfjttg-57727). I have fproxy.port=8888 in my freenet.ini, and `$ netstat -alnp tcp | grep 8888` shows nada.
[2:04] <bluephile> Found it: my IP address changed, and fproxy.bindTo had an old IP in it. Sounds like an incorrect error message to me, though! The port isn't already bound, it was simply unable to bind it!

[15:45] <mynameisdelete1> would it work on a million person network?
[15:46] <mynameisdelete1> how well does it work if most content posters post the content and then leave a week later?
[15:48] * mv_ (i=vike@) has joined #freenet
[15:51] <Tommy[D]> it should work with with a million persons, also nobody tested it till now

[21:10] <thados> anyone know why i get this error "Unknown and potentially dangerous content type: application/x-freenet-index" ?
[21:12] <thados> seems to me that a x-freenet-index file should display/load in freenet?
[21:14] <nextgens> try with thaw
[21:14] <nextgens> it's likely to be an index file
[21:14] <thados> so start>freenet>thaw ?
[21:15] <nextgens> maybe
[21:15] <thados> thats give me an error about "javaw" says it cannot find it
[21:16] <thados> "windows cannot find javaw"etc
[21:16] <nextgens> then try to find a file called thaw.jar in your freenet's folder
[21:16] <nextgens> and double click it
[21:19] <thados> ok it looks like thaw is up... do i have to run thaw everytime i load freenet or does it do it automaticly?
[21:19] <nextgens> thaw is just a graphical interface
[21:19] <nextgens> do whatever you've to do with it and let the node running
[21:20] <nextgens> you don't need to keep it up for jobs to progress
[21:23] * trimo42432 (i=trimo424@) has joined #freenet
[21:26] <thados> so when i am browsing in my freenet browser.. and i hit a link that takes me to that error screen... i have to save the index. then inport it with thaw?
[21:27] <nextgens> no, give the address to thaw
[21:27] <nextgens> it will download it
[21:27] <Jflesch> the key, not the address
[21:27] <nextgens> :$
[21:28] <Jflesch> (but I think it should also work with the address)
[21:28] <thados> and how do i give the key to thaw.. seems i have to download the file then inport i see no other way
[21:29] <Jflesch> thados: when you're on the second tab (index browser), click on "add an already existing index"
[21:31] <Jflesch> (you may have to click first on the folder where you wanna add the index)
[21:31] <thados> ok thats a lil easyer. thanks
[21:31] <Jflesch> you're welcome
